Greg Gutfeld, the 60-year-old Fox News host, recently surprised fans by announcing that he and his wife, Elena Moussa, 42, have welcomed a baby daughter.

The 60-year-old host, known for his roles on both “The Five” and the late-night program “Gutfeld!,” spent 46 days away from screens to adjust to life with a newborn at his $10.5 million apartment in New York City.

Gutfeld and his wife, Elena Moussa, 42, quietly welcomed their first child, a daughter named Mira, in December. The news put an end to growing speculation and concern among viewers about his absence.

Speaking candidly during his return, Gutfeld admitted that much of the hands-on parenting has been handled by Elena, confessing he’s “terrible at everything” when it comes to caring for a baby.

Despite the chaos of new parenthood, Gutfeld seemed in good spirits, offering fans a rare glimpse into his private life and expressing deep appreciation for his wife’s dedication during this life-changing transition.

“It is with great joy that my wife Elena and I have welcomed a baby girl into the world,” Gutfeld said during the announcement.

He added a humorous touch, describing their daughter Mira as “healthy with a real set of lungs” and noting she has Elena’s “beautiful eyes” and his “rock-hard abs.”

Gutfeld’s new house

While Greg Gutfeld admits he’s not the most hands-on dad, the Fox News host did take a major step to prepare for his growing family—by securing a luxurious new home to raise his daughter with wife Elena Moussa.

Property records show that in July, Gutfeld purchased a $10.5 million loft in Manhattan’s upscale SoHo neighborhood.

The transaction was made through the same LLC he previously used to buy his former residence, indicating a seamless upgrade rather than a relocation out of the city.

The new condo is housed in a beautifully restored six-story building dating back to the early 1900s, recently transformed by the renowned DXA Studio into a high-end residential space.

The unit spans 3,560 square feet and features elegant, modern touches. Listing photos from its prior 2021 sale, when it fetched $8.55 million, reveal a room already arranged as a child’s bedroom—making it an ideal setting for welcoming baby Mira.

Despite moving into this expansive new loft, Gutfeld seems to have held onto his previous New York apartment—a three-bedroom, three-bathroom unit located nearby—adding to the couple’s impressive real estate portfolio.

The TV personality, who also hosts the late-night show Gutfeld!, had kept his wife’s pregnancy a well-guarded secret.

However, recent developments suggest that Gutfeld may have been preparing for this exciting chapter for some time.
