According to Entertainment Tonight, Valerie’s new partner is writer Mike Goodnough, known for his popular blog under the pseudonym the Hoarse Whisperer. Earlier this month, Bertinelli stirred up speculation when she revealed to USA TODAY, “I’ve met someone. And I’m incredibly grateful for him. It’s unlike any relationship that I’ve ever experienced with a man. I don’t want to say too much, but I feel incredibly blessed and lucky to have met him.

Regarding Goodnough, Valerie revealed that she began following him on social media in 2016 or 2017, with him reciprocating the follow in 2018.
