Alec Baldwin received an extra special birthday shout-out from his baby granddaughter, Holland.

On Thursday, April 3, the 30 Rock alum’s oldest daughter, Ireland, 29, shared a photo on her Instagram as she celebrated her dad on his 67th birthday. In the sweet photo, Baldwin can be seen holding up his granddaughter Holland, 22 months, as the two smile together in a rare photo.

“Happy birthday to Peepaw,” Ireland wrote in her caption, revealing the name her daughter calls her dad. “I’m so glad you were born. Because of your born-ness, I was born-ed. I love you!”

“And I love you,” Baldwin sweetly replied in the comments.

Baldwin shares his older daughter Ireland with ex-wife Kim Basinger. He is also dad to seven younger kids — three daughters; Carmen Gabriela, María Lucía Victoria, and Ilaria Catalina Irena, as well as four sons; Rafael Thomas, Leonardo Ángel Charles, Romeo Alejandro David and Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas — whom he shares with wife Hilaria Baldwin.

Ireland, who shares her daughter with partner RAC, celebrated her first Mother’s Day last May with her daughter Holland.

The couple made the choice to share photos of Holland’s face for the first time, having previously shared photos where the baby girl looks away from the camera or has her face covered by a sticker.

The photo carousel shared to Instagram on May 12 showed the mother and daughter laying and laughing together throughout several pictures. “Thank you for making me a momma! You changed my life and everything I have ever known,” Ireland wrote in her caption.

“I don’t know why I’m making this post out to you because a) you can’t read yet and b) instagram will probably be a distant memory by the time you can, but I am so proud to have made you!!!”

In an Instagram Q&A in October 2023, Ireland got candid about how she’s been transitioning to motherhood when she answered a question asking how she and Holland are doing.

“I’m not going to lie… there have been moments where I have been so overwhelmed by all of the changes… but overall, things have been beautiful,” Ireland shared.

“She’s so much fun to spend time with and figure out,” the new mom raved. “I would say most of the stress I’ve experienced lately has actually had nothing to do with her. Being overtired just makes it all worse.”
