Charles Kelley Of Lady A Is Expecting His Second Child With His Beautiful Wife, Cassie

Lady A‘s Charles Kelley and his wife, Cassie, are thrilled to share their pregnancy news!

The Kelleys welcomed their first child, son Ward, on February 11, 2016. Now, the couple is preparing to welcome a new addition to their little family.

Charles and Kelley announced their pregnancy in a joyful Instagram post on Tuesday (March 25). They said:

“Biggest surprise of our lives! Baby Kelley coming early fall 2025.” They added, “Big brother is the MOST excited.”

The couple’s announcement came with a series of maternity photos, many of them featuring Ward. You can see how happy he is to be a big brother!

 

The couple received a ton of congratulatory comments from their friends and followers.

“I’m bawling over these photos. What a miracle and a blessing!” wrote Charles’ Lady A groupmate, Hillary Scott.

Abby Smyers, the wife of Dan + Shay’s Dan Smyers, said, “Will never recover!!!! I love you!!!”

Randy Houser’s wife, Tatiana, said, “HUGE congrats!!!!! So happy for you guys!”

“Congratulations!!!!” commented Jennifer Wayne of Runaway June.

Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild said, “The best news!!!!!!”

Charles and Cassie did not share if they’re expecting a boy or a girl.

Charles Isn’t The Only Lady A Member Expecting A New Baby This Year…

As it turns out, Baby Kelley will have a little playmate extremely close to his or her age. Charles isn’t the only member of Lady A who’s recently announced a pregnancy!

In February, his bandmate Hillary Scott and her husband, Chris Tyrrell, shared they are expecting their fourth child, a baby girl. Their new addition will join big sisters Eisele, Emory, and Betsy this summer.

 

Additionally, many members of the country music community are expecting new babies this year. Charles and Hillary’s fellow Opry member Lauren Alaina is preparing to welcome her first child with her husband, Cam Arnold, this summer.

Cole Swindell, Koe Wetzel, and Sam Hunt are some of the other country artists who will be adding to their families in 2025.
