Old Veteran goes viral for special birthday wish to President Trump ahead of his 104th birthday
Denver Moore, a World War II veteran living in Canal Fulton, Ohio, is preparing to celebrate an extraordinary milestone—his 104th birthday on May 15.
But Moore isn’t just planning any birthday party. He has a very special guest in mind: former President Donald Trump.
“So far, he’s my favorite president,” Moore said in a recent interview with Fox News Digital. “And Biden was my worst.”
Moore made his birthday wish public in a heartfelt TikTok video posted on March 23 by a family friend. In the clip, the centenarian directly addresses Trump:
“President Trump… I’m gonna be 104 in May, and I’m inviting you to my birthday party in Canal Fulton. I got to vote for you again, and I hope I can vote for you some more.”

The video quickly gained momentum, racking up over 700,000 views in just 10 days. Since then, Moore has received warm messages and birthday cards from all over the U.S.—and even as far away as Africa.
A Life of Service and Simplicity
Moore’s incredible life journey began on a farm in Noble County, Ohio. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps for three and a half years. After completing his military service, he spent two decades working for the U.S. Postal Service.
He and his late wife, Thelma Lee, were married for 75 years before she passed away in 2022 at the age of 95. Together, they raised three children and built a life grounded in family, hard work, and commitment.
Today, Moore lives at Danbury Senior Living in Massillon, just south of Cleveland, where he remains mentally sharp and physically active. His caregivers and family members proudly shared that he still enjoys staying busy and can even recite the alphabet backward—a skill he picked up over 80 years ago.
“I learned that over 80 years ago,” Moore said with a proud grin.

The Secret to a Long Life? Stay Active
Moore attributes his long, healthy life to staying physically active—a habit instilled in him from a young age on the family farm.
“I was always active, doing something. I carried mail for 20 years, walking, and that was good. I grew up on a farm. We did everything. And if we didn’t have anything to do, we created something,” he explained. “So it’s just this: stay active.”
The centenarian also shared one more piece of life advice—this one for the romantics:
“Marry the right woman and live with her all of her life,” he said with a smile.

Since his birthday invitation video went viral, Moore has been flooded with kind messages and well wishes. Kelli Beckler, the executive director at Danbury Senior Living, said the response has been overwhelming in the best way.
“People from all over the country have been sending him birthday cards and cheering him on,” Beckler told Fox News Digital.
Although it remains to be seen whether President Trump will accept the invitation, Moore’s spirit, patriotism, and unwavering energy have already made his upcoming 104th birthday a national celebration.
